About Us
Tiddies Sandals has been making people giggle, and starting conversations, for over 50 years. Somehow, through a completely random twist of fate, this legendary brand landed in our hands, and we’ve been running with it ever since. Now, Tiddies is family-owned and operating North of Houston, Texas by me, Cheyenne, and my husband Cody.
My first pair of Tiddies? Easy question, I remember like it was yesterday. I was a kid, the sun was shining on The Strand in Galveston, Texas and my Wal-Mart specials broke right then and there, leaving me shoeless. We swung by a local surf shop, my mother, couldn't stop laughing at the name and insisted I tried them on. Little did I know in my ripe tween years, that Tiddies would be my future. I never got to share this joyous accomplishment of owning Tiddies, with my mother, I lost her to breast cancer in 2006, but we had this moment, and for that I will always be grateful.
Before sandals became my world, I had a pretty wild ride myself. I was a newspaper reporter, a Houston radio personality, and even a sketch artist for psychics. My background in mass communications, art, and a degree in biology means I’ve always been curious, creative, and ready for the unexpected—basically the perfect resume for stepping into a 50-year-old sandal empire. Cody is a hydraulic guru, which is how we stepped into Tiddies originally. A simple fix of their hydraulic machinery changed our lives forever.
Tiddies isn’t just about shoes. It’s about personality, humor, and a little rebellion for your toes. Each pair is a statement: life’s too short for boring footwear. And for me, being a mom is my favorite job, hands down. Owning Tiddies gives me a way to build something lasting for my “tiddie babies,” something they can one day laugh at, walk in, or maybe even take over.
Over the decades, Tiddies has built a reputation for turning heads, making people smile, and embracing the ridiculous in the best way possible. We love that we get to carry that spirit forward—mixing a little family chaos, a lot of laughs, and sandals that demand attention.
So welcome to our world. Step into a pair of Tiddies, and let your feet do the talking. Because life’s too short, your sole deserve better, and seriously… why not make people laugh along the way?
Peace, Love & Tiddies
